The Melita Foundation supported part of the restoration of St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, preserving an iconic piece of Valletta’s skyline and history.
This project preserves Malta’s rich cultural heritage, enhancing Valletta’s iconic skyline for future generations. As a universally recognised landmark, the Cathedral’s bell tower and spire, rising over 200 feet, are iconic elements of Valletta’s skyline. By restoring this landmark, the foundation helps ensure that St Paul’s continues to be a cherished part of Malta’s cultural landscape and part of our architectural treasures.
Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
