St Augustine College

Code4Earth gives students the power to code for a cause! With kits funded by The Melita Foundation, they’ll use Micro:Bit tech to track pollution, monitor plants, and tackle real environmental challenges- turning creativity into climate action.

Inspiring young minds to use tech for a greener future – blending coding, creativity, and real-world impact! Code4Earth is where coding meets sustainability! Through hands-on experience with Micro:Bit and Kitronik tools, students will track air and soil quality, monitor plant growth, and explore how chemicals impact the environment. With more kits available, more students can get involved, work in smaller groups, and create smarter, greener solutions. Part-funding from The Melita Foundation is helping these young innovators go beyond coding- they’re learning how technology can shape a healthier planet.
