Serendipity

The Serendipity project is shaking up the clubbing scene with a splash of LGBTQ+ love and artistic vibes. Thanks to The Melita Foundation, apart from the workshops this project was wrapped up with an exhibition at RosaKwir in December—perfect for making connections.

Led by the dynamic duo, Charlene Galea and David John Grech, Serendipity is all about creating a buzzing hub for artistic expression and collaboration. It’s a come-one, come-all space where everyone feels they belong, fostering amazing artistic exchanges that enrich our community. The grand finale? A vibrant December showcase at RosaKwir, offering fantastic networking opportunities. This free, inclusive initiative aligned perfectly with The Melita Foundation’s mission to celebrate diversity and boost artistic growth.

Making a difference together

Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
