NWAMI International Malta

“Foodwise Families” by NWAMI International Malta teaches sustainable cooking and fosters multicultural harmony. Supported by The Melita Foundation, this project includes zero-waste cooking workshops, educational resources, and a digital cookbook.

“Foodwise Families” brings together families from different cultural backgrounds to cook without wasting food. Over six months, it includes online food waste education, cooking workshops for parents and kids, animated videos, and a digital cookbook for children. This project teaches sustainable cooking practices, promotes healthier living, and saves money. By fostering community and respect, participants help the environment by reducing food waste and strengthen community ties.

Making a difference together

Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
