A new large-scale monument at Dock 1 in Bormla will honour Joseph Casha’s legacy, enriching public spaces with art and culture.
A new landmark at Dock 1, celebrating creativity, history, and an artist’s legacy that continues to inspire! This monument celebrating the legacy of Maltese artist Joseph Casha will be installed at Dock 1 in Bormla, adding a meaningful piece of public art to the regenerated area. Inspired by his signature work, this installation will honour his contribution to Malta’s cultural heritage while making art more accessible to all.
Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
