Strengthening Cultural Mediation for a More Inclusive Malta. With our support, JRS Malta is delivering an intensive two-day training for cultural mediators – migrants who help refugees navigate essential services.
Giving cultural mediators the skills to connect communities, support refugees, and make a real difference! Through expert-led sessions on interpreting, ethics, and cross-cultural communication, participants will gain the skills and confidence to build stronger connections between communities. This programme is more than just training – it’s about fostering inclusion and empowering those who make a real difference.
Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
